Investment Readiness

Proposition

The purpose is to prepare the company for the funding process.

The essence of this is identifying the most appropriate funding sources then establishing the right information package to deliver the message clearly and concisely to potential funders.

Aditum will work with you; it is a partnership approach with the company and its advisers.

The process is set out below and is delivered through a clearly defined series of sessions with one or more of the management team.

Clients are start-up, early stage or established but small ventures seeking typically £50,000 to £3,000,000 of funding though equity, debt or grant sources, or, more likely, a mix.

Process

There are a range of key issues to be dealt with:

  • Evaluation of the impact of ownership dilution
  • Consideration of the pros and cons of equity vs other sources (debt, grants, internal funds)
  • Examine the business proposition and assess the chances of success
  • Examine the company’s business plan and company documentation
  • Business plan
  • Business model
